Can I place hot pans or cut directly on my countertops?

We recommend using trivets and cutting boards to protect your investment. Direct heat can cause discoloration or cracking, and cutting directly on stone can leave scratches—even on the most durable surfaces.

Where can I see available stone colors and patterns?

Visit our showrooms in Prince Albert or Humboldt, or explore options on our supplier websites. We can also direct you to suppliers in other cities where you can view and select slabs in person.

When do countertops go in during a renovation?

Countertops are installed once your cabinet bases are secured. It’s ideal—but not required—for painting and other prep work to be completed beforehand.

What’s the difference between granite and quartz?

Granite is a natural stone, each slab unique and formed by nature. Quartz is an engineered surface made from crushed stone and resin, offering a uniform look and increased durability.

Can you repair damage like pits, seams, or chips in stone?

In most cases, yes. We can repair or improve many common issues, but it depends on the extent of the damage. Reach out and we’ll assess how we can help.

What is the typical timeline?

On average, projects take about 2–3 weeks from confirmation to completion, depending on scheduling and material availability. The more notice we have, the better we can plan.

How much should I budget for my project?

Costs vary depending on your layout and stone choice, but most standard kitchen projects range between $5,000 and $10,000. Because each project is custom, the best way to get an accurate quote is to contact us and discuss your vision.
